In total, the 'Middle East Retail Academy: 2011 Awards' contains 15 categories for vendors. Ten vendor Awards covering separate product categories will be voted for during a live voting session by an audience of pre-qualified ICT and CE retail executives from across the Middle East market attending DCC MEA. Each executive has been carefully vetted to ensure that only the most senior retail executives participate in the voting process.

The quality of the voting community and their regional spread means that these vendor awards are highly coveted prizes that reflect on a vendor’s real standing in the regional retail community. Prior to the live voting session a Selection Committee made up of the region’s leading retailers decides on the pre-selection of the 5 nominees for each award. These awards recognise the vendors that have excelled in building relationships with the Middle East retail community to accelerate sales of the following product categories

In addition, the 'Middle East Retail Academy: 2011 Awards' will recognise the achievements of five individual channel managers working at vendors. These winners will be pre-selected by members of the Retail Jury using an online voting system to indicate their preferred recipient.
